Snakebite is a handcrafted wearable spell oil created for transmutation, shedding an old state and deliberately becoming something new.
At the heart of this oil is real snake shed, used as materia of shedding and renewal. Snakebite is for those periods when change goes deeper than starting something new. It is about leaving an old form behind, moving through the uncomfortable parts of change and emerging differently on the other side.
I would reach for Snakebite when breaking old patterns, moving through a major personal change or when I know something about the way I have been living, thinking or responding no longer belongs to who I am becoming.
How to use
Apply a small amount to pulse points or use it to anoint the body as part of your own ritual practice. Wear it during transmutation work, while moving through significant change or whenever you want to carry the intention of shedding, resilience and renewal with you.
Ingredients and why they are here
Sunflower Oil - A light carrier oil that forms the main base of the botanical infusion and helps soften the skin.
Apricot Kernel Oil - A nourishing carrier oil that conditions the skin and gives the finished oil a smooth feel.
Snake Shed - The central materia of Snakebite. It represents shedding, renewal and transmutation, leaving an old form behind and emerging changed.
Nettle - Associated with strength, defence and resilience. It supports the harder and more protective side of moving through change.
Blackberry Leaf - Associated with protection, boundaries and overcoming tangled circumstances. It supports crossing from one state into another.
Juniper Berry - Traditionally associated with cleansing and protection. It is included to help clear away what belongs to the former state as you move forward.
