CREATING A MAGICAL WARD

Creating a magical ward with barbed wire can be a powerful and effective way to protect a specific area or object from negative energies or entities. Barbed wire, with its sharp, twisted strands, is often associated with barriers, obstacles, and confinement, making it a fitting material to use in the creation of a ward.

Here are the steps to create a magical ward with just a few ingredients...barbed wire, twine , salt and you.

1. Set your intention and get your space set before you begin. it's important to get into the right mindset before you create your ward. Think about what do you want it to protect? What energies or entities do you want to keep out? What can it let in? This will help guide your spellwork.
2. Gather your materials: You'll need a section of barbed wire, a 1 mtr length of natural twine, a layer of salt for the base of a fireproof dish and a secret ingredient....fire gel. (usually this is made from hand sanitiser and some herbs that have been enchanted) and any additional items you'd like to use in your spellwork (such as candles, crystals, or herbs).
3. Cleanse and charge your materials: Before working with the barbed wire, it's important to cleanse it of any negative energy it may have picked up. You can do this by holding it in running water, holy water or by wafting it through a cleansing smoke blend. Then, you’ll need to charge the barbed wire with your intentions by holding it in your hands and visualising the protective energy you want it to embody. At this point I would whisper your intentions to the wire as well and then set the wire down in a cleanses place.
4. Knot Magic : Its time to weave and knot your intentions into the twine. I use a ladder of nine knots evenly spaced on the twine. With the tying of each knot I will whisper one intention or action I want the ward to hold.
5. Begin weaving the ward: If you are concerned about being cut by the wire you can wear gloves for this part, but I prefer to have direct contact with the object I am enchanting. Start by wrapping the twin around the wire. As you wrap, visualise a powerful shield forming around the object or area, keeping out any negative energies or entities. Again, whispering your intentions and actions. Once its wrapped, lay it on the salt bed in your fireproof dish placing a good amount of Fire Gel underneath the ward.
6. Add additional elements: If you'd like, you can incorporate additional elements into your spellwork by placing candles, crystals, or herbs around the perimeter of the ward. These can help to amplify the protective energy.
7. Seal the ward: Set the fire gel on fire ensuring the twine catches fire. This is sealing in the energy you created in the twin and infusing it to the wire. Once the fire is out, your ward is complete. Visualise a final surge of protective energy flowing through the barbed wire and sealing the ward in place. You may want to speak a simple incantation or prayer to further reinforce the ward's power.
8. Position Your Ward : Place your ward in a prominent location in the center of your home, out of reach of children and pets of course.
9. Maintain the ward: Regularly check the ward to make sure it remains intact and is still effectively protecting the intended object or area. You can recharge the ward as needed by visualising the protective energy flowing through the barbed wire once again. Do not cleanse your ward as if you do you will need to start again with the while process.
